Couple Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Gabe and Margaret Stees will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Their wedding took place on September 2,1961 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Morrison, Illinois.

Their children have prepared a celebration party for them to be held September 3, 2011 at Nelson School Gymnasium from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. The school is located at 207 Pope St. Nelson, Illinois 61021.

I'm looking forward to posting another picture of the couple from their celebration as soon as I get one.

Gabe is the son of George A. and Edith (VanDusen) Stees.
They make their home in the village of Nelson, Illinois.

George Alvin and Edith (Van Dusen) Stees - 50th Anniversary

George and Edith were married September 26, 1942 in
Kahokia, Missouri. They celebrated their 50th anniversary
on September 26, 1992 with a renewing of their
wedding vows at a party given in their honor by their children.
